Cash prizes

Cash prizes will be awarded at the discretion of the jury. The jury reserves the right to not award any of the prizes; (apex) splitting a prize between several contestants. Decisions of the adjudicators are FINAL.


Top Prize Winners will be featured on our competition website, and social media sites with a concert portrait,
biography, and the prize-winning video as well as a Special Poster. On top of that top winners will be featured in an online interview and/or a professional MTV*

We are the Urban United Association, an association with a focus to help businesses create opportunities in the Chinese American market. And we’re proud to promote this upcoming event held on December 17 2022 until January. We want to welcome everyone and anyone who is interested to learn more about our culture while enjoying traditional Christmas seasonal artworks, costumes and much more. There will also be giveaway, samples and as well as a raffle at the end sponsored by the organizer.

There will be a Chinese New Year festival and the organizer has invited many different community associations to participate and celebrate the New Year. At this event there will be a variety of performances such as Class Music and Christmas concert to entertain our guests. This is a family friendly event and we are inviting guest of all ages to attend. These two events will not only create future business opportunities for the festival and the vendors but will also bring more visibility and continue positive image within the Chinese community.

    Master. Victoria Savitt: International singer, pianist, piano teacher, piano song composer. She is the winner of the United Nations NGO “Global Peace Alliance Peace Ambassador Award”, the “Career Achievement Award” awarded by the International Fluxing Rotary Club, the winner of the Taipei City Outstanding Youth Award.
    Master Victoria Savitt International music certification qualification and the signing of the United States New York Steinway &Sons Piano Company Cooperating musicians, and music education partner certificates.
    Master. Victoria Savitt solo concert in the Steinway Hall in 2015, and the students’ performances were officially held in the Steinway Hall in 2016, 2017, 2018 for student classical piano and singing music presentations, as well as in the 2017 Queen’s Library Community in New York, USA, The Matsu Foundation’s event music presentation was well received, and the 2018 March perform in Lincoln Center, 2019 April in Carnegie Hall music performance·2022 Her composed master pieces for world and Christmas concert.

  • Charlie Sigler 查理 • 西格勒

    Charlie Sigler has been active member of the music community since his high school years studying and performing in the Baltimore/Washington D.C. area. A recent graduate of William Paterson University with a Jazz Performance, Charlie has performed with many greats of the music including Christian McBride, Slide Hampton,
    Billy Hart, Victor Lewis, Lenny White, Winard Harper, Harold Mabern, Eric Alexander, Myron Walden, Akiko Tsurga, Pat Bianci, Jared Gold, Vince Ector, Bruce Williams, Radam Schwartz, Kyle Koehler and Dave Stryker among others.
    He has performed at clubs and festivals throughout the region including the Montclair Jazz Festival, Litchfield Jazz Festival,Mid-Atlantic Jazz Festival, AFRAM and the Berks Jazz Festival. Currently residing in Bloomfield, NJ, Charlie maintains a busy schedule of performances, recording and teaching.
  • Aaron Seeber 亞倫 • 西博

    Aaron Seeberis a talent performance drummer living in Brooklyn, NY is making his name as an emerging Jazz drummer in New York City. Aaron is a recent graduate of SUNY Purchase, where he studied Jazz Drums under the tutelage of renowned instructors Kenny Washington and John Riley. He was a member of the Purchase Jazz Orchestra, under the direction of Jon Faddis and Todd Coolman. 
    Originally born in Washington DC, Aaron was exposed early on to many great musicians that helped feed his enthusiasm for Jazz music.
    As a performer, Aaron has had the incredible opportunity to share the stage with greats Eric Reed, Jon Faddis, Cyrille Aimée, Jeremy Pelt, Paul Bollenback, Tim Green, Bruce Harris, Gary Smulyan, Mike Ledonne, Freddie Redd, Butch Warren, Grant Stewart, Chuck Redd, and many others. He has performed internationally with The Warren Wolf Trio and nationally with the grammy award winning group, The New York Voices. 
  • Jeeyoun Kang

    Jeeyoun Kang studies at Aaron Copland School of Music for the Artist diploma with professor Judith Mendenhall. She received Bachelor degree and Master degree of Music in Flute Performance from Dankook University in South Korea.
    She has been a Flutist in Jeju June Ensemble and Jeju Flutist Ensemble and has been a guest Flutist in Jeju National Philharmonic Orchestra and Jeju Chamber Orchestra in Jeju island in South Korea. She had a recital with the support of Jeju Island and Jeju Foundation for Art&Culture and selected as a Jeju Young Artist and performed solo.
    Also, she performed with Jeju National Philharmonic Orchestra, Jeju Flutist Ensemble and Jeju Youth Orchestra.
    She participated France Music Alps Festival, Greece St George International Music Festival where she performed solo. She is winner of American Protege International Music Talent Competition(2022) in U.S and Youngsan Music Competition, The Music Association of Jeju Competition, Jeju Flute Association Competition, Jeju National education Competition in South Korea.
    In addition, she received Honorable Mention at the ACSM Concerto Competition (2022) in U.S and won prizes
    at the Music Chunchu Competition, Sungshin Women’s University Competition, Hanum Music Competition, and
    Hanye Music Competition in South Korea.
  • Jeeyoun Kang

    Serena Peiying Wang, International soprano. She was the Silver Award winner of the New Tang Dynasty Televison for 7th International Chinese Vocal Competition. As a young active artist, she has music contract with Philadelphia Orchestra choir soprano at the Kimmel Center for performing art. In addition, she got music shooting
    contract with NETFLIX move company for music scene. Ms. Wang performed many opera leading roles such
    as Queen of Night from “Die Zauberflute” Cherubino and Babarina from Le Nozze di Figaro , Almirena from “Rinaldo” with New York Opera Forum, Yum-Yum from “Mikado”, Ms. Wang has been active many concert performance such as Carnegie Hall, Opera America and around New York area.
    She achieved the Advanced Diploma in vocal performance at Aaron Copland School of Music, CUNY Queens
    College, and graduated from Taiwan National Sun Yat-Sen University with a master’s degree in vocal performance with first prize scholarship. Currently, Ms. Wang is also a dedicated teacher. She teaches vocal lesson
    and piano lesson in New York City.
  • Garret Peng 彭冠傑

    Garret Peng came from Taiwan, where he built up his music fundamentals for both violin and piano.
    He double majored in piano and violin in Taiwan and has won numerous prizes and awards in violin and piano
    competitions. He excelled at every level—won numerous competitions and awards.
    At 18, he was recruited by a worldʼs premier classical performing arts group in the United States. For five years, he performed at some of the worldʼs most prestigious venues, including Kennedy Center Opera House in Washington, DC and gained extensive performing experience.
    He pursued a violin performance degree at the Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College, studied with international violin soloist, Dr. Chin Kim in New York. He also enjoys teaching others, which gained him many years of teaching experience in both violin and piano. He has been teaching piano and violin and has inspired many of his students and helped them excel at state evaluations and qualifications.

  • Amanda Liang

    “Vivian Fang Liu was born to be a musician,” says Felix W. Ortiz, member of Assembly. Ms. Liu was born in China and has studied music in the East and the West. She performed actively in the United States and Europe, venues including Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, Hammerstein Hall, Gracie Mansion, Citi Field, and more recently was invited to perform at St. Smith Square in London. Ms. Liu has been invited to judge many music competitions from the United States and China. She is also a piano adjudicator in New York State School of Music Association (NYSSMA). Ms. Liu has a strong passion in teaching and her creative teaching approach is welcomed by the young musicians. Ms. Liu holds her Master’s degree in classical piano performance at New York University and Music Education Master’s degree at Teacher’s College, Columbia University.
